On October 1, there was a sudden heavy snow in Halatewula iron-zinc mine, and the minimum temperature at night in the mine area dropped to - 13 ℃. The harsh low temperature weather increased the difficulty of construction, but it did not affect the determination of the employees of the Mongolian Mountain Gold Mine to complete their work. In order to ensure the completion of this year's exploration work, Mengguoshan Gold Mine actively communicated with Zhengyuan Company, further defined this year's exploration work plan, implemented relevant safety protection measures for drilling at low temperatures, and overcame various difficulties in drilling at low temperatures. With the joint efforts of both parties, the drilling of the first borehole was started on October 2 at the 6 # exploration line of the West stope.
The exploration of the west stope is planned to be completed before the end of 2022, and the exploration of the east stope will be completed in the first half of 2023, so as to fully understand the occurrence of deep resources in the east and west stopes, find out the occurrence relationship between shallow ore bodies and deep ore bodies in the west stope, especially clarify the resources in the negative change area of the east stope and zinc rich area of the west stope, and provide geological basis for the next overall planning and mining design of the mine.
